Absolutely love this tangy sweet coulis. It goes so well with meringue, cream and bananas. I had intended to make a Vacherin (French dessert) but it turned out to be more of a Eating Mess! If it wasn’t for my nemesis Meringue, it would have been a huge hit. I never have an issue of whipping it up it’s the baking that gets me everytime. Nevermind, despite the Meringue disaster what came out of this is the best Coulis a girl could ask for.
I used a local sweet wine from Lerida Estate, 2015 Botrytis Pinot Gris.
